A muffler-back system runs $350–$750 in aluminized steel and $650–$1,400 in T-304 stainless, fully installed and welded. Cat-back and header-back builds are quoted on the lift after we see the routing.
Yes. We tack the muffler in place, fire the car up, and let you listen at idle and at throttle. If you don't love the tone, we swap it before any final welds — no second labor charge.
Yes — every cat we install in California is CARB Executive Order (EO) certified for your vehicle. Required for smog and registration. We won't install non-EO cats on CA-registered cars.
Muffler replacement: 1–2 hours. Cat-back system: 2–4 hours. Full custom build: usually same-day if dropped off in the morning.
A properly designed system won't. Cheap straight-pipe builds can cost low-end torque. Our builds are sized for your engine's flow needs, not just for noise.
Yes. We smoke-test the system, find the leak (manifold gasket, flex pipe, cracked weld, rusted pipe), and weld it once. No clamp-on Band-Aids.
